Greyscale & Color DICOM Calibration with Barco's® I-Guard Technology
Barco® MDNC-6121 I-Guard sensor technology incorporates an integrated front-of-screen photometer that continuously evaluates image quality, ensuring consistent and accurate DICOM calibration.
With I-Guard technology, the Barco® Nio MDNC-6121 can automatically adjust brightness and grayscale levels in real time, compensating for any ambient light changes and display aging. This means radiologists can trust that they're always looking at consistent and accurate images, regardless of external conditions.
Uniform Luminance Technology
The Barco® Nio MDNC-6121, fortified with Barco's® Uniform Luminance Technology (ULT), addresses challenges faced by radiologists due to uneven brightness in traditional LCDs. These conventional screens often present luminance discrepancies in over a quarter of their viewing area, which can distort images and degrade quality. ULT, however, counteracts these luminance and color inconsistencies, ensuring full compliance with DICOM GSDF (Grayscale Standard Display Function) standards across the entire screen. This technology empowers radiologists with consistent, high-quality images, thereby enhancing diagnostic precision.
Revolutionary CSDF Calibration
Experience the exceptional Color Standard Display Function (CSDF) calibration capabilities of the Barco® Nio MDNC-6121, meticulously designed to meet the dynamic requirements of radiologists and pathologists. The CSDF calibration introduces an innovative color calibration method that complements the established GSDF (Greyscale Standard Display Function), addressing the unique needs of these healthcare professionals. This cutting-edge technology not only enhances grayscale performance but also ensures the accurate representation of colors in multi-modality imaging environments. CSDF calibration allows medical images to be displayed with unparalleled color precision, facilitating improved lesion detection, tissue differentiation, and consequently, more accurate clinical evaluations.
SpotView™
SpotView enhances display brightness within a specified circular region of interest, making intricate details more visible. It dynamically improves contrast and, if necessary, magnifies or inverts pixels within the SpotView zone, providing an optimized viewing experience for identifying subtle discrepancies. This function is particularly useful for detailed examinations, allowing radiologists to better detect minute variations that could be critical in making an accurate diagnosis.
Ambient Light Compensation (ALC)
DimView
DimView selectively dims auxiliary displays used for patient worklists or dictation. Minimizing peripheral light during readings, allows the user's eyes to concentrate on the diagnostic screen, reducing visual distractions.
Users have the flexibility to choose which display(s) should automatically dim when the cursor is not active over them. They can dim each display individually using DimView, or synchronize the dimming of all additional displays with DimView Link, thereby customizing their viewing experience according to their specific needs. This feature enhances user comfort and focus, contributing to a more efficient and effective diagnostic process.
MDNC-6121 has an Adaptable Stand
The stand accompanying the Barco® Nio MDNC-6121 is engineered for exceptional user comfort and flexibility. It offers a range of adjustments including tilt, swivel, and height, enabling users to position the monitor at their most comfortable viewing angle. In addition to these ergonomic features, the stand includes a connector compartment cover designed to conceal cables, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
3D Tomosynthesis
Barco® MDNC-6121 features advanced 3D tomosynthesis capabilities, providing a more comprehensive and accurate view of breast tissue. This state-of-the-art technology allows radiologists to examine a series of high-resolution images from different angles, effectively creating a three-dimensional reconstruction of the breast.
Enhanced Clarity for Radiologists with Anti-Reflective Glass
MDNC-6121 display offers an optional anti-reflective coated protective glass that significantly enhances visual acuity and performance for radiologists. This advanced glass technology reduces glare and reflections, enabling healthcare professionals to scrutinize images with remarkable sharpness and accuracy. By mitigating visual disruptions, the anti-reflective coated protective glass allows radiologists to focus on key details, leading to more precise diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.
